Wireless infrastructure has become an integral part of modern day communication systems. With mobile phones becoming an almost indispensable part of daily life, there is a need for better infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity. In this regard, MCV Microwave has developed three filter families for wireless infrastructure that cater to various frequencies and applications.

The first filter family comprises of ultra-low passive intermodulation (PIM) cavity filters and multiplexers that are designed to cover TETRA and all LTE frequency bands from 300 to 3600MHz. These filters come with a typical production PIM performance of 163 dBc, measured with two CW tones each at 43dBm. This means that they have very low intermodulation distortion which is especially important for wireless communication systems as it ensures that signals do not get mixed up and distorted resulting in poor connectivity.

The filters have an even lower PIM filter with a guaranteed 173 dBc which is ideal for PIM test bench and more demanding testing applications. The filters are designed with approximately 1dB passband insertion loss and have a minimum of 20dB stopband attenuation which means that they effectively separate the desired signal from unwanted frequencies. The filters come with a compact design which ensures easy integration into existing systems.

MCV Microwave's second filter family is designed for high-frequency applications. These filters operate between 10GHz to 100GHz and maintain a typical insertion loss of 2dB. They are made for use in various applications such as test setups, communication systems, and surveillance systems. The filters have high reliability and are tested to meet the most demanding requirements.

The third filter family is designed for space applications. These filters operate between 1GHz to 20GHz and are built to withstand the harsh conditions of space. The filters maintain a typical insertion loss of 0.5dB and have a minimum of 20dB stopband attenuation. They are designed to operate in extreme temperatures, radiation, and vacuum.

In conclusion, MCV Microwave's new filter families offer a range of high-performance filters designed for specific applications. The ultra-low passive intermodulation (PIM) cavity filters and multiplexers are ideal for wireless communication systems that require low intermodulation distortion to ensure optimum connectivity. The high-frequency filters are perfect for test setups and other high-frequency applications, while the space filters are designed to withstand the harsh conditions of space. MCV Microwave's filter families are designed to ensure maximum performance and reliability in the most demanding applications.
