Description
Low PIM stands for “Low passive intermodulation.” It represents the intermodulation products generated when two or more signals transit through a passive device with nonlinear properties. Passive intermodulation is a significant issue within the cellular industry and it is extremely difficult to troubleshoot. In cell communication systems, PIM can create interference and will reduce receiver sensitivity or may even inhibit communication completely. This interference can affect the cell that created it, as well as other nearby receivers.Application
